Building a strong resume without much experience
Employers hiring students and graduates are looking for potential: evidence that you learn quickly, work well with others and can apply what you studied. Your education, projects, internships, part-time jobs, volunteering and societies all provide that evidence when you describe them with results.
Treat a substantial project like a job. Give it a title, list the tools you used, and write two or three bullet points about what you built and what happened: users, accuracy, time saved, awards or grades.
Keep the resume to one page, use a short objective that names the role you want, and tailor the skills section to each posting. A clean template lets that content speak for itself.
